I didnt go to the office almst the whole of this week. It wasn't planned la, of course. I was on mc on
Monday and
Tuesday due the sore eyes.
Sepet dua-dua belah mata aku. It actually started out in the left eye. I have no idea how it spread to my right eye. So I stayed home the whole of these 2 days, except of course the time when I went to the doctor.
On Wednesday was
National Day. Though I am not proud to say that I have no idea how old
Singapore is this year. Still down with sore eyes. But it was slightly better.
Ayah pulak kena jangkit. Stayed home again, doing nothing. Going
JB the day after. Considering how much I missed my lil angels, I went to sleep over at my brother's house. By the time I reached his place,
Syukriah was already asleep. Lucky
Asy wasn't. The rest of the night was spent online playing pool with
Jonathan. Thanks to me, he is already addicted to online pool la.
Heh.
JB on Thursday. I took leave. We rented this
MPV, complete with driver, all-paid petrol and tolls, for
S$180.
This is the day when I realised how cheeky my nephew can be. Apparently, he told me on Thursday morning that he's sad. The conversation went like this:
Asy: Acik, Abg sedih la.
Me: Asal?
Asy: Abg sedih. Dayang dah kahwin.
Me: Dayang siapa?
Asy: Dayang la. Dayang girlfriend abg. Abg nak kahwin dengan Dayang.
Me: Oooo...I don't know if
Dayang Nurfaizah is really getting married la. But coming from a 2 year old boy, it's a bit too advanced for his age,
kan? Oh, I didn't tell anybody about this. We have a couple of
Dayang Nurfaizah's CD at our place so everytime he comes, he wil take the CD and kiss
Dayang Nurfaizah's face and say, "I love you".
O...k. So anyway, we assumed that he
tengah pasrah due to the news he recived that
Dayang is getting married, so he gotten himself a new girlfriend. A Chinese girl by the name of
Qiqi who stays nearby. My brother's family and myself were at the fitness corner waiting for my parents and granny to fetch us to
JB. So
Asy was running around then this girl came with her mother. They were communicating in baby language.
Asy was like talking in his "english" language and the girl was speaking in Chinese. Then
si Asy ni,
gi pimpin the girl's hand and they went "dating", which was watching the people playing basketball. Aiyoh. Then part
ambik gambar, see for yourself k.
Just in case you didn't notice, the first two pictures, my nephew had his arms around the girl and the last picture, they were holding hands.Gatal kan anak sedara aku ni satu. Anyhoo, there was this one part when the mothers were talking, my nephew kissed the girl la. My brother and I were shock seh. Oh. My. God. He's too over friendly la that boy. Lucky the mothers didn't see. They were too busy talking.
Went back to the office yesterday. And I felt lost. Like I don't know what to do. Feels like it's my first day at work all over again.
Alahai. I guess this the result of not going to the office for one week.
Ok la. Tonight, I was offered 3 dates with 3 different people. First date is with
Ain. Well, we will be at the workshop together so might as well. But at the same time, I hope
Mr. R won't mind if
Ain joins our date. I definitely won't mind. I hope
Mr. R won't too. And there's these group of
Anak Melayu people who invited me to join them for durian eating session over at
Kallang. Which I don't think I would go because I don't even know majority of them, so maybe I'll pass.
