Blogging on my first day of work. Not a very good start. But look at it this way. It's already after the official office hours. No. I am not still in the office because I wanna use the net. I am still in the office because I have to attend a meeting.
Bad start today. Was waiting for the bus and unfortunately, all the 3 buses which came was full. And I only have one direct bus to my current workplace. Ended up taking the cab. Had to book. And it was during the peak hour. So go figure.
Basically today was the orientation. Was introduced to my new colleagues whom I actually already known because I was a volunteer here in the first place.
Kinda miss the people in
Toys "R" Us. How we entertained ourselves by gossiping, painting our nails(though this only apply to
Syasya and myself), playing with the soft toys, trying to arrange the plush roses to make it look like a heart, etc, etc. But most of all, I miss
Max already.
But never mind. I've made my mind up to work here so be it. It's a year contract which ends end of this year.
Got to go people. Nothing much really happen.
Oh ya. Lucky we ended quite late last night. It was my last night at work for
Toys "R" Us. And thanks to
Khai manager. If we ended earlier than midnight yesterday, I would have already been drenched in
lemon-smelling floor detergent, be wrapped in the
plastic wrap and tied by the
yellow chain.
Thank goodness.
