Bintan was heaven!
Well, in a way it was.
It's so relaxing there and we were really treated like princesses and princes there. Pampered and spoilt like mad!
Here how it goes...
120305After the walkathon, the bus picked us up at the new school site and off we went to Tanah Merah ferry terminal. Took the ferry and the whole of Bartley campus was on the second deck. Then we heard that somebody forgot his passport.

Sheesh...*
We reached Bintan and we were welcomed by the resort. There's this one guy who wore a mask welcoming us by dancing to
dangdut.
During the course, I felt sick, really sick. My haed was spinning ad I was feeling vomitish. I couldn't even stand up and balance myself. Bel accompanied me to the bathroom, followed by Miss Zhou Ping and Mrs. Wong. And t he staff there was so hospitable. They really showed their care and concern. The manager of the resort actually came and asked whether I would want to go the the doctor. And the staff, one by one actually came and aske me whether I was ok and whether I need anything.
Me, Nad, Khai, Janna, Hema and Sasi got the same villa. It was like a house and it's cool.
We had fine dining and all of us think we look
fantastic. I think we did dress appropriately for the occasion.
130503Rise and shine and were were the 2nd group to go for breakfast. It was the day when we have to visit the floating village, vegetable farm and shop! So, after breakfast, off we went to the vegetable farm. We get to pick our own free vegetables but I didn't pick any though.
Can you believe that the coconut actually cost 5000rupiah? Cheap right. The floating village was actually nice and serene though it's quite dirty with rubbish and such. And the people were so friendly.
We went shopping after that. Well, judging from the size of the extra bag that I had to carry, I think I did quite shop a lot. Luckily I brought that extra bag.
That night, we had BBQ and MI Idol. That was when the "party" begin. Those who were there would know what happened. I choose not to type it out here but if you want to know, feel free to approach me or anyone else who were there. Why I chose not to type what happened is because, this may be my blog but anybody can just read it. In order to prevent anything else that's bad to happen, let's just leave this as it is.
Me, Nad, Khai and Janna ordered for room service. We waited and we waited. The guys came and they went. Lastly, the food came at 0200+ (Bintan time). We slept at 0300+ (Bintan time). By the time I woke up, I look like shit and my eyes were red, leaving with no choice but to wear my specs instead of my contacts.
140305Today is the day we are going back to our homeland, Singapore.
We did some games before that and it was the last time we went into the conference hall.
I panicked when I went down and I couldn't find the bag with the souveniers inside because apparently, that bag has no zip whatsoever, only one button. Plus, I had my discman in it too. And, I put my granny's vase in that bag. I asked Daniel(our instructor for Bartley) whether the Bartleyans can go first. And after lunch, for the first time ever, the Bartleyans left first.
Me and Belinda sat with each other and we slept for most of the journey. By the time I woke up, we were already nearing Singapore. So Khai and myself went out to the open deck, enjoying the wind in our faces. Then Nan, Khai and myself sang "One People, One Nation, One Singapore" song.
All of a sudden...
Bang! My stress level went up and I knew we reached Singapore waters. I started to worry about my homeworks, my school and A-levels.
